The unfolded corners are part of the napkin section.The napkin section is where the two halves of the fan meet.The triangular edge will be along the unfolded section.To make a sturdy base, tuck it securely.
Step 7: Place the base of the fan on the plate.
The napkin fan should be put into a semi-circle.The unfolded corners of the napkin will act as a base to keep your fan standing.The fan is delicate.If you try to move the dinner plate, the fan will fall and unfold.
Step 8: If you want, modify the fan.
You can use the standing fold to create a fan that can be placed inside a glass.Instead of leaving four inches, fold the napkin like an accordion.Take one end of the fan and fold it one inch over.Allow the fan to open.Spread the rest of the fan out by placing the folded end into the glass.The goblet fan is a technique.

Step 15: The right side should be folded over.
Take the right side of the square and put it in the middle.The right edge of the napkin will be in the center if you fold one third of it.You will see a small triangle on the right side when you fold the triangle in half.Make a crease by pressing down on the fold.
Step 16: The left side should be folded over.
You will do the same thing on the left side.Take the left side and fold it over.You can fit the edge of the left side into the small triangle fold that was on the right side.Press down on the folds to crease them.
Step 17: The napkin needs to be flip over.
There is a pocket that your silverware can fit into.Make sure the folds are secure by pressing down on them again.
Step 18: You can add your silverware.
You can put your silverware inside of the fold now that it’s finished.The folded pocket is an attractive way to hold silverware and is great for dinner parties.
Step 19: You should collect your materials.
You will need a square napkin, a flat surface to work on, and a plate to place your pyramid on for the pyramid fold.
Step 20: Place a napkin on your table.
If you want it to be a diamond shape, adjust the corners so that it is facing you.Before you start, make sure to smooth out the lines by hand.

The bottom point of the diamond will be brought here to meet the top point.The napkin looks like a triangle.To crease it, press down on the fold.
Step 22: To get to the top point, you have to bring the left corner in.
The left corner should be folded up to meet the top corner of the triangle.There is a triangle with three equal length sides on the left and right side of the napkin.
Step 23: To get to the top point, you have to bring the right corner in.
You will do the same thing with the left side and the right side.The two sides of the triangle will be the same if you pull the right corner up and in.With the open sides facing away from you, your napkin will be back in a diamond shape.
Step 24: The napkin needs to be flipped over.
You don’t want to see the folds when you flip the napkin.The bottom point of the diamond should be folded over.The napkin will look like a triangle.There is a fold in the center of the triangle.To crease them, press on them.
Step 25: Pull up the center fold.
Pull the fold down the center of the triangle.The base should be created by dropping the edges of the triangle.
Step 26: The outer triangle has points.
This will keep your folds secure.You can put the finished product on your plate now that you have your pyramid.
Step 27: You should collect your materials.
To make a rose fold, you will need a square napkin, a level surface, and a glass with a round bottom.There are many variations of the rose fold.This is a basic rose fold that can be used.The rose fold can be used to display cocktails.
Step 28: You should put your napkin on a level surface.
To orient the napkin as a square, be sure to smooth out any visible wrinkling.
Step 29: The corners should be folded to the center.

Step 34: The glass should be removed.
You can remove the glass once the corners have been pulled out.You can put the rose fold on a dinner plate now that it’s finished.This fold can be used to display smaller bowls or plates that are placed on top of the inner corners.
