How To Use Your Android As a Credit Card

Step 15: Make sure the store you choose supports tap-to-pay.

Not all card readers can receive card details from a phone or tablet, so it’s important to look up your preferred store in order to ensure that it has a card reader.You can find a list of supported US retailers on the Android Pay site.

Step 16: There is a card reader.

Some card readers require you to touch the reader with your phone, while others only require the phone to be within a few inches.If you don’t know how to use the card reader, ask the clerk.In order to transmit your card details, you don’t have to have Android Pay open.

Step 17: If that’s what you’re asked to do, unlock your phone.
