How To Make Chinese Fried Rice

Fried rice is a traditional Chinese side dish.It’s time to give the homemade version a try if you’re used to ordering it at the restaurant.You can make the ingredients your own.If you don’t have a lot of experience with Chinese cooking, it’s easy to make the rice.

Step 1: The rice needs to be washed.

It is a good idea to rinse your rice before cooking it.There might be debris on the surface of the rice.rinse the rice with cold water by placing it in a strainer.You can skip rinsing the rice if you are short on time.If you don’t cook rice, you may end up with stickier cooked rice.

Step 2: The water should be brought to a boil.

When the water comes to a boil, pour 1 cup (195) of medium-grain white or brown rice and 12 teaspoon (2.84 g) salt into the pot.To bring the pot back to a gentle boil, lower the heat to medium low.3 cups of cooked rice should be produced by 1 cup of uncooked rice.You can also use butter to flavor your rice.If you want, mix in 14 grams of butter.

Step 4: Allow the pot to cook for at least 18 minutes.

Step 7: A wok is on the stove.

Fried rice can be made in a wok, which is the best way to cook it at home.Put the pan on the stove and preheat it for five minutes.A large skillet or frying pan can be used if you don’t have a wok.

Step 8: It’s a good idea to add a neutral to the pan.

When the pan is heated, pour a small amount of neutral oil into it.To make sure the oil coats the bottom, turn the pan slowly.They won’t add any extra flavor to your dish if you use neutral oils.Canola, grapeseed, corn, peanut, and safflower are also considered.

Step 9: Cook the ginger, garlic, onion, peas, and carrots.

Step 10: Put the eggs in the pan and scramble them.

Step 12: The mixture will be heated through.

As the pan cooks on medium heat, continue stirring the mixture.The rice should be fully heated through in approximately 5 minutes.Lower the heat if it seems like the rice is getting hotter.If the rice mixture is sticking to the pan, add a few more drops of oil.You can add chopped green onions to the finished rice.
