How To Make Candied Bacon

Candied bacon is a great snack.Before cooking the bacon, coat each piece with a sugar-maple syrup glaze to complement the intense, salty taste of the meat.It takes only thirty minutes to prepare bacon and it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Step 1: The oven should be set to 350 degrees.

The oven needs to be preheated about 15 minutes.

Step 2: The baking sheet should be prepared.

Put a wire cooling rack on top of the large baking sheet by covering it with foil or paper.It will be easier to clean up a mess with the foil or parchment paper.If you don’t have a wire rack, cover the baking sheet with paper.Candied bacon can still be made without a rack.

Step 3: The glaze ingredients should be mixed.

In a large bowl, add the sugar, rice vinegar, and maple syrup.All ingredients should be fully mixed.

Step 4: Put the bacon in the oven by placing it on the wire rack.
