How To Help Your Child to Start Being Active

With the increasing popularity of in- home entertainment, the reliance on motor vehicles, children and, let’s be honest, adults are engaging less and less in active pursuits.It is important for children who are still growing and developing to be active.There are many ways to encourage a child to be more active.

Step 1: Walk your child to school.

If this is an option for you, suggest that you and your children walk to school.They will get off to an active start with this.This is great for the environment and for alleviating traffic congestion during the rush to and from school, as well as a great wake-up exercise and an opportunity for children to make friends.Encourage your children to ride their bikes to school.
